Their soil management programme includes the use of worm castings, liquid seaweed, composted manure, natural crushed rock mineral fertilizer and a balanced blend of soil microbes. In the years that they have been farming, their property has had NO toxic chemicals, herbicides, pesticides or synthetic fertilizers applied. So a healthy living soil grows clean, rich pasture which produces happy, healthy cows who give delicious nutritious milk. Quite simple really! Their cows are traditional breeds - Jersey and Dexter - who are hand-milked. It’s more relaxing for the cows and the farmers! None of their dairy products (yoghurt, fruit yoghurts, fromage frais, Greek-style yoghurt,) are homogenised. Extract: Albany Farmers Market
